CALDECOTT uk celebrating creativity

Mr Randolph Caldecott: “the man who could not stop drawing”.

Caldecott UK celebrates creativity and shares the legacy of Randolph Caldecott in Whitchurch and beyond. We champion the importance of picture books in inspiring children’s imagination and fostering a lifelong love of reading, while supporting both emerging and established illustrators in developing their work.

Through initiatives such as the biennial Caldecott Festival, student bursaries, exhibitions and creative partnerships, we create opportunities for writers and illustrators of children’s books to connect, collaborate and inspire new audiences.
