FESTIVAL programme

SATURDAY 21st march 10-4pm

THE CALDECOTT FESTIVAL

Two wonderful authors will be with us all day at the festival.

SIÂN HUGHES, WINNER OF THE SEAMUS HEANEY AWARD, THE ARVON INTERNATIONAL POETRY PRIZE
Will run two workshops on writing poetry and judge the Haiku competition.

MARK BARDSLEY AUTHOR OF DOGS, CRAZY ANIMAL POEMS & WHEN I WAS YOUNG AND FOOLISH and BLOOM TOWN
Will run an Interactive session for children in the morning at Whitchurch Library. Mark will be talking in the afternoon about how he came to be writing and illustrating such wonderful, Laugh out loud books of poetry.

Artists, Musicians, Photographers, Quilters , Peg doll Makers, Quillers, Flower arrangers and many more people who love what they create will encourage you to have a go and be creative.

Musical sessions to delight your ears whatever your preference is will be running throughout the day.

There will be a Maker’s Market with stalls full of exciting things made by local people for you to purchase, handmade, all unique and lovely .
